New York, London..seems like all the great cities have a bed bug problem. I wonder if they wear little t-shirts with “NY, London, Paris” on them. I had a bed bugs experience in London. Thoughtfully the Landlord provided them by way of the furnished apartment and the bed bug infested beds he provided for us to sleep on. Four flatmates, tired from a busy day moving in, all found themselves awake in the middle of the night, inadvertently converging in the corridor at 2am, scratching madly. It wasn’t quite the middle of the night corridor meeting some of us were hoping for.

Tootles who? Obviously never reached Tyne Tees Television.
I read not too long ago that landlords in NYC sometimes make tenants sign a bed bug waiver the problem is so bad. Ugh!
Gives a new meaning to "Bring out your Dead", I mean "bed".

This post got me scuttling to Google and a search for this elusive taxi called Tootles as I'd never heard of it. I then entered a bizarre world of all things Tootles - the train, the tugboat and so on.

Maybe NY needs a new Tootles. Tootles The Snowplough !!

Since we've been on the 'West Coast' there are so many everyday illnesses that seem to exist here that I've never heard of in the UK, maybe I should get on the first plane back!

I can recite the Tootles the Taxi poem, but it has far too many double-entendres when you're an adult. I'm Tootles the Taxi, I'll give you a ride..."

Did you know (and this is true), that bed bug bites often appear in threes? No-one knows why, but it's rumoured that the reason is: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Yes, thought that would make you feel better.
