If what you have said about NY living not like a real life version of non-stop Doom get’s around, everybody not here will come and today’s subway cars will look like a first class cabin on the Queen Mary II by comparison.

Also, NY’rs will lose the status attributed to them as something just below SEALS, Green Berets, Delta Force,Special Boat Service and Special Air Service commandos when they travel outside the United States, or even outside the Tri-State Area, when they simply state “I live in New York City.”

I can sympathize with your fears and then your realizations. The week before I left for the US I was a wreck, and as soon as I got here I realized it’s just another place to live. No difference from anywhere else really.

Hello Dylan, I imagine how you felt when first you arrived in New York. My middle son went to Paris at about the same age and, although not so far away, just as daunting, I’m sure. How long ago was that, I wonder?
