Yes I was very surprised to find out my bank was being bought by another. I didn’t even know they were in trouble. I guess I should read more than just the blogs when I am online!

BTW I enjoy reading your blog. My favorite is the 200 things you have to know about New York.

It doesn’t really surprise me that your mum knows more about what’s going on that we do, she gets real news, not the watered down c**p that’s fed to us.

Yes, I was similarly surprised when my mum rang me last week to ask if my bank was alright! She seemed to know more than me at the time.
